Installation

Option 1

This is the preferred position of all Braille Tactile Signs. Position the Braille Signs leading edge between 50mm & 300mm from the acrhitrave. Height wise the Braille Sign must be positioned between 1200mm & 1600mm from the floor surface.

Option 2

The sign is to be centred on the door when option 1 is not possible.Height wise, the Braille Tactile sign must be positioned between 1200mm & 1600mm from the floor surface.

Surface Preparation

We supply all our stock signs with Biolink - 4412HT or 1000R Double sided tape, these are high quality double sided tapes,

but it is the responsibility of the installer to decided if the double sided tape is suitable for the substrate the signs are intended to be installed on.

If it is decided that double sided tape is no suitable, we can supply signs free of double sided tape and the signs can then be applied with other means

We recommend all surfaces be cleaned with acetone & a clean rag prior to installing signs
